NEWPORT CLASSIC YACHT REGATTA SCHEDULE
A Celebration of Classic Yachting in Newport, Rhode Island
The 40th Annual Newport Classic Yacht Regatta hosted by IYRS will take place over Labor Day weekend with racing in Narragansett Bay and Rhode Island Sound on Saturday - Sunday, Aug 31 – Sep 1. The Organizing Authority is the Ida Lewis Yacht Club.
Note that the Herreshoff and Newport Classic Yacht Regattas will be on different weekends and will no longer be scheduled back-to-back as in 2017 and 2018. The Herreshoff Classic Yacht Regatta will take place August 23-25.

Classic Yacht Parade
Lead Boat: Rumrunner II, a 1929 Elco Motor Yacht
Rendezvous Point: Northwest end of Goat Island, line up behind Rumrunner II
Parade route: Around Newport Harbor, past the wharfs, IYRS, King’s Park, Ida Lewis Yacht Club and Fort Adams
All classic boats, motor or sail, are welcome to join the parade, even if they are not participating in the regatta.

Featuring live music by The Naticks and catering by Russell Morin Catering and Events. Dinner tickets are $50/person.
Please note that dinner tickets are not included in the regatta entry fee.
